My boyfriend is making me choose?

We've been going out for 15 months, today he found out when we were on our "1 day break" I kissed one of my best boy mates 7 times, he is angry and is now making me choose.. I either never talk to my friend again or I get dumped, do you think this is fair?! I dont know what to do?!
